The Museum
Inaugurated in 1995, the Ceramics Museum of Nove is based in the elegant palazzo which, until some years ago, housed the Ceramics Art Institute.
La collezione, ripartita per epoche, documenta ampiamente la storia della ceramica novese, vicentina e veneta, dal ‘700 ai giorni nostri. Il patrimonio artistico è impreziosito dalla collezione di “cuchi”, i fischietti in terracotta, donata da Nino Athos Cassanelli.
Il percorso museale si articola su tre piani, iniziando dall’alto con le ceramiche più antiche, procedendo con la sezione dedicata all’Ottocento, per ultimare il percorso con le opere del XX secolo fino ai nostri giorni, la collezione di cuchi e lo spazio per le mostre temporanee.
The Museum, equipped with a spacious and well-equipped educational room, can welcome up to two groups at the same time. Its central position in the town make it easy to reach with public transportation.
Clay
Clay, a supple and malleable material, has been used since ancient times to create both functional artifacts and works of art. It has tactile and sensory qualities that permit the development and stimulation of the creative process and manual skills of whoever approaches this material.
The educational offer of the Civic Museum involves participants in theoretical and practical activities that provide students with different approaches to the process – historical-artistic, socioeconomic and technical – to experience firsthand the artisanal, industrial and artistic production of ceramics, through the welcoming and profound gaze of art therapy, which values the creative process above the finished product.
The educators are available to carry out tailored projects at the request of the teachers.
You may choose one or more ad hoc educational proposals, to be able to work at school before and after the educational outing. ad hoc in modo da poter lavorare a scuola prima e dopo l’uscita didattica.

Our educational activities are geared towards classes from schools of all levels. The activities are adaptable depending on the audience, during booking, by arrangement with the teachers. It is necessary to indicate, at time of booking, the number of participants. The chaperones are responsible for the behavior and the supervision of the students.
The cost of activities includes the VAT at 5%. The price of Museum entrance tickets is not included and comes out to €3,00 per participant. Entry for persons with disabilities and accompanying person is free.

SCATOLA CULTURA SCS
SCATOLA CULTURA scs ONLUS, con sede in Chiampo (VI), opera in varie località del Veneto e del Friuli Venezia Giulia e si occupa di: educazione, formazione in ambito archeologico-storico-artistico, didattico museale, escursioni giudate, gestione e valorizzazione dei siti di interesse storico-artistico-archeologico, progetti di inclusione e accessibilità, proponendo eventi, attività e iniziative rivolte a vari pubblici al fine di promuovere la conoscenza e la fruizione del patrimonio culturale del territorio.
E’ composta da educatori e professionisti esperti in pedagogia, formazione, archeologia, scienze naturali, storia dell’arte, didattica museale e valorizzazione turistica.
Fin dalla nascita, Scatola Cultura s.c.s. ONLUS si è impegnata, in particolare, nel settore culturale specializzandosi nella valorizzazione di realtà museali, avviando collaborazioni con altre associazioni ed enti e promuovendo i temi della “inclusione e accessibilità” (in collaborazione con Ca’ Foscari Venezia) al fine di sensibilizzare la comunità locale sulle diverse abilità e nell’ambito educativo promuovendo la nascita di nuovi doposcuola.
